Emerson Hurumzi Hotel, Stonetown Zanzibar
Emerson was a dear friend and mentor to me through many years. We shared so much time together and I learned so much about the joy of life with him. His eye for design and architecture was always a joy to behold, as evidenced by his traditional Zanzibari designs of his hotels. He is sorely missed now that he has been laid to rest.
