This is the land of my ancestors, Norway. Funny enough I never met a Norwegian until I went to Zanzibar and there I made some lifelong friends in Tom, Agnete, Edvard, Anne and Hakon. They would welcome me into their home and show me the land of my heritage, the sights and sounds of where my family originated.
This is the farm my ancestors migrated from in 1832 in Uskedal. Tom and Agnete kindly took me in search of this farm called Fjellansbol in a valley surrounded by mountains. The original farmhouse is still intact after so many years.
